Help A Child...Assist A Single Parent BACK TO SCHOOL UNIFORM GIVEAWAY
Brand New School Uniforms and "Gently Used" School Uniforms, Belts, Shoes, and Backpacks for children of working single parents residing in St. Charles Parish will be given away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the St. Charles Parish Firehouse on Ormond Blvd. in Destrehan from 10:00AM - 1:00PM
Members registered for the 150 free new uniforms should attend from 10AM - 12Noon Everyone else may attend from 12Noon - 1:00PM
Please know everyone must bring copies of the following items with them: 1) valid ID or Driver's License 2) recent utility bill or lease (proof of residency in St. Charles Parish) 3) proof of employment or school enrollment - recent pay check stub, work ID, or school ID
AFSP is excited to announce that we received a $5,000 grant from Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM)** and additional funds from Bunge North America and the St. Charles Parish Women's Club. These generous donations will allow AFSP to help ease the financial burden at the start of a new school year for our single parent members; thus enabling us to purchase brand new school uniforms and conduct a school uniform drive consisting of "gently used" uniforms, belts, shoes, and backpacks.
Participation in this event is available to:
1 - Working Single Parents who reside in St. Charles Parish and are registered with Assistance For Single Parents (To register, click on the "Register" tab)
2 - New uniforms are eligible only to the first 150 children of single parents residing in St. Charles Parish who either:

You will receive an email confirmation stating you are eligible for the FREE new school uniform by July 1st if your son or daughter's uniform registration form was one of the first 150 forms received.
* "Gently Used" uniforms and items will be on a first come first served basis until they run out. Please consider donating your "gently used items that your children may no longer need or have possibly outgrown. Look under the "Assistance Tab" for more information. **This donation was given by Archer Daniels Midland through their ADM Cares Program.
